Viewsonic monitor is excellent, and this is no exception. The size is perhaps the best way I've ever used. The screen is bright and clear and has no dead pixels. These are the settings I use to work perfectly for this LCD:

1. Use the DVI rather than VGA (which simply does not work for a big screen).
2. Color Adjust -> sRBG instead of other options for sharper text (a button - Color> Adjust -> button 4 -> second button a few times - sRGB> -> button 4 -> 1 button a few times) .
3. If the text is too small for that, instead of 1440x900 (PC: Control Panel -> Display -> Settings -> 1440x900).
